When I try to run some gnome apps, like gnome-terminal or gnomecc, the
app doesn't even start and I get the following message:
sestaats@coeus:> gnome-terminal
gnome-terminal: error in loading shared libraries:
/usr/lib/libgnomeui.so.32: undefined symbol: gtk_item_factory_add_foreign
sestaats@coeus:> rpm -qf /usr/lib/libgnomeui.so.32
gnome-libs-1.0.8-8
I just upgraded to RH 6.0, here is what I have installed:
sestaats@coeus:> rpm -qa | egrep 'gnome|gtk'
gnome-audio-extra-1.0.0-6
gnome-pim-devel-1.0.7-2
switchdesk-gnome-1.7.0-1
gtk+-perl-0.2-4
gnome-objc-1.0.2-4
gnome-network-1.0.2-2
gnome-linuxconf-0.22-1
gnome-audio-1.0.0-6
gnome-games-devel-1.0.2-10

gnome-media-1.0.1-3
gnome-games-1.0.2-10
gnome-objc-devel-1.0.2-4
gnome-pim-1.0.7-2
gnome-utils-1.0.1-6
gtk+10-1.0.6-5
gnome-core-1.0.4-34

gtk+-devel-1.2.1-10
gtk-engines-0.5-16
pygnome-1.0.1-2

How can I fix this?
