Trouble installing gnome

Hi. Trying to install gnome for the first time on RedHat 5.2. I followed
the instructions at gnome.org and downloaded all the latest rpm packages
from ftp://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/redhat/latest/i386/ . When I run rpm
-Uvh *.rpm I get the error-
failed dependencies:
gnome-audio is needed by gnome-libs-0.99.8.1-2
portmap is needed by mcserv-4.5.16-4
I dont see either of these files on the ftp site. Any suggestions.
