I need to go find the bug-list addresses, and subscribe...
If animation is turned off, the panel will not auto-hide.
The GNOME pager makes a bottom panel become twice as high. (So
annoying from a screen real estate point of view that I'm not
using it.)
Let's say I have the printer applet on an auto-hide edge
panel. If I drag a file out of gmc to bring to the printer,
it won't un-hide when I get to the bottom of the screen.
I can't do drag/drop (anything?) to an auto-hidden icon.
It would really be nice if gmc could re-home the left half-
pane display, instead of displaying the entire filesystem
tree. The left half-pane just gets too visually busy.
I see I can now drag a file from gmc and drop it on an open
gedit window, and have it act "as expected". I would also
like to be able drag a file from gmc and drop it onto a
gedit (or other) icon on a panel, and have it open that
application with that file. Obviously doing the same with a
.jpeg and the Gimp is another example. (The OS/2 WPS does
this with the greatest of ease....)
