he's most likely using bakground pixmaps, which will flicker like hell since
the scrolling with pixmaps is done pretty hackishly ...

if I ever get to fixing that (post 1.0) ... it will still most likely be more
flickering and slower then say eterm ... but it won't use that many resources
... (it's quite a lot leaner then eterm in this respect)

solution: ... if you hate flicker and slow scrolling don't use background
pixmaps or transparency ... I would personally turn this off for 1.0 ... it's
just eyecandy (cool eyecandy I think, but useless) ...
