I think you are missing his point. If I understand him right, he agrees
with me that it would be nice to have a checkbox by each sound that would
make it possible to disable the sound without removing the default filename,
so that if the user changes his/her mind, it is easy to restore the sound
to the default without having to remember what the default filename was...

Does my suggestion of a checkbox to turn an event type on/off count? :-)
