Please help me with this,
I tried to compile gnome-libs, only to get this:
orbitgtk.c:73: parse error before `gnome_ORBit_request_validate'
orbitgtk.c:76: warning: return-type defaults to `int'
orbitgtk.c: In function `gnome_ORBit_request_validate':
orbitgtk.c:80: `ORBIT_MESSAGE_ALLOW_ALL' undeclared (first use this
function)
orbitgtk.c:80: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once
orbitgtk.c:80: for each function it appears in.)
orbitgtk.c:82: `ORBIT_MESSAGE_BAD' undeclared (first use this function)
orbitgtk.c:83: warning: control reaches end of non-void function
orbitgtk.c: In function `_gnorba_cookie_setup':
orbitgtk.c:198: warning: passing arg 1 of
`ORBit_set_request_validation_handler' from incompatible pointer type
make[2]: *** [orbitgtk.lo] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/src/cvs/gnome-libs/libgnorba'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/src/cvs/gnome-libs'
make: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 2
does that mean I need new ORBit???
I dont think it's gonna help since my ORBit will not compile.
(it wont even configurate):
configure.in:203: warning: AC_TRY_RUN called without default to allow
cross compiling
[I get hundreds of these errors]
aclocal: configure.in: 28: macro `AM_PROG_LIBTOOL' not found in library
autoconf: Undefined macros:
configure.in:12:AC_CPP_ACCEPT_IDL
configure.in:16:AC_CPP_PIPE_STDIN
processing popt
configure.in: 9: required file `./ltconfig' not found
configure.in: 3: required file `./config.h.in' not found
aclocal: configure.in: 9: macro `AM_PROG_LIBTOOL' not found in library
Running ./configure --enable-maintainer-mode
creating cache ./config.cache
./configure: syntax error near unexpected token
`AM_CONFIG_HEADER(config.h)'
./configure: ./configure: line 575: `AM_CONFIG_HEADER(config.h)'
I have read the ORBit questions.
YES I DID CHECK IT OUT INSTEAD OF UPDATING!
Please help me.... :-|
