Re: recomended window maanger



There is no recommended wm for GNOME.  The idea is that you should be able
to use any wm you want.  If the wm supports the gnome win hints, then some
parts of gnome will work better.

So far, enlightenment, windowmaker and icewm have support (there are
probably others), and there is a patch for fvwm2 that adds support for 
some of the window hints.
