icons etc

I have just compiles october gnome and all of my panel icons and menu
icons have black backgrounds.

Also pixmaps which are supposed to be on the back buttons etc on the help
browser and many other apps appear as random dots and not the typical
icons.

Otherwise everything seems to work fine.

Any help appreciated.
