That doesn't sound like it's easy.  You could benchmark Linux's
performance using each of those FS, or you could benchmark Linux using
ext2, and you could benchmark Win95 and 98 using FAT, and win98 using
fat32, and NT using NTFS, but that would likely not result in any
meaningful results (as though benchmarks ever are).  Of course, I have
no idea what this has to do with anything GNOME related...
