May I respectfully suggest that every announcement like this
should be accompanied by a 1- or 2-line description
of the software in question.

Please remember that there are many of us out here who -- 
while wishing Gnome well in every way --
have only a limited amount of time to invest in it,
and have little if any idea of the purpose
of the many Gnome applications around.
