gnome-linuxconf abrubtly terminates

Hi,

 when I use gnome linuxconf to mount a floppy, it seems to terminate when it
trys to mount. When I try to add a user account it freezes and forces me to
reboot the computer. I am using E 15.5 and gnome package that came with
redhat 6.0 

I had to hit him -- he was starting to make sense.
