One thing that I have noticed about some of the .spec's that come with the
gnome tarballs, is that they don't always include all of the files that the
package would install.  Compile the package and install into an empty
hierarchy of directories.  Then note files and directories everything went
into and compare that to what the .spec has.

Normally you choose the same prefix for all of them, but theoretically you
could use all different prefixes.  Although, I haven't done this, it's not
very common practice I'm sure.
