I'm not all that clear what your problem was precisely, but I sometimes
find that a GTK+ or Enlightenment theme has been put into a file in /tmp.
I'm pretty sure control-center is the culprit. The filenames that these
use shouldn't interfere with anything else.
Also, most compilers use the /tmp directory for their intermediate files.
Again, these should not interfere with anything.
