URL respitrory



I have probably missed the discussion about the URL respitory proposal but 
anyway;

Why store it like in a database?
Why not *in* a database?

Sounds like an ordinary, general database engine, accessed through a CORBA 
interface.
Never leave a system without one! :)
(Haven't Gnome got some kind of DB support?)
