It's still my personal feeling that the easiest to use system I've
seen with respect to app installation and deinstallation is nextstep,
and it's this way because installation is existance. The installation
tool is 'copying' and the deinstallation tool is 'deleting' and it
works great. It works this way because they use an encapsulation
concept called 'app-wrappers', and it was done only for GUI apps on
nextstep. (legacy command line stuff still used a traditional
installer)
