Ok. Listen to make sure all is well do the very fun Updatedb then locate
and find ALL refs to gtk, gdk, glib, gdk_imlib, ORBit and REMOVE
EVERYTHING you find. Then do a fresh make install from each of those
programs dirs. It sounds to me you have duplicate files.
