RPM dependency problem going from 0.27 to 0.30

Hi,

I currently have a gnome setup (0.27/0.28 mainly), gimp < 1.0 and both
gtk+ 1.1.1 and 1.0.5. I tried to upgrade to gnome 0.30 using rpm -Uvh
*.rpm for the directory contents below:

ORBit-0.3.0-1.i386.rpm
ee-0.3-0.i386.rpm
glib-1.1.3-1.i386.rpm
glib10-1.0.6-1.i386.rpm
gnome-core-0.30-1.i386.rpm
gnome-libs-0.30-1.i386.rpm
gnome-media-0.30-1.i386.rpm
gnome-utils-0.30-1.i386.rpm
gtk+-1.1.2-1.i386.rpm
gtk+10-1.0.6-1.i386.rpm
imlib-1.8.1-1.i386.rpm
imlib-cfgeditor-1.8.1-1.i386.rpm
libgtop-0.25.0-2.i386.rpm
yagirc-0.65.6-3.i386.rpm

I had these dependency failures:

failed dependencies:
        libgdk-1.1.so.1 is needed by gnome-guile-0.27-1
        libgdk-1.1.so.1 is needed by gnome-admin-0.27-1
        libgdk-1.1.so.1 is needed by ggv-0.26-2
        libgdk-1.1.so.1 is needed by gmc-4.1.35-3
        libgtk-1.1.so.1 is needed by gnome-guile-0.27-1
        libgtk-1.1.so.1 is needed by gnome-admin-0.27-1
        libgtk-1.1.so.1 is needed by ggv-0.26-2
        libgtk-1.1.so.1 is needed by gmc-4.1.35-3
        libgtktty.so.0 is needed by gnome-games-0.20-1
        libgtktty.so.0 is needed by gnome-admin-0.27-1

There were no instructions in the README file regarding this. Is it
necessary to install vs upgrade glib-1.1-3, gtk+-1.1.2 and
gnome-libs-0.30? I will appreciate any help that can be provided. There
were no instructions in the README file regarding this.

Thanks,
Glenn
