Re: RPM dependency problem going from 0.27 to 0.30




I sprung upon this too. I also had the 0.27/0.28 rpms. It can be solved
by various combinations of forcing updates and deleting old stuff. The
problem is that this is a manual and quite tricky process. It would be
useful if this problem was adressed in future releases, otherwise less
persistent users than myself will probably give up before getting a
complete gnome upgrade. Gnome still feels too tricky to install and
upgrade to appeal to newcomers and a wide public.
