1) why not use the term free software? this isn't really targeted at PHBs,
so i don't think the term open source is necessary

2) also, the magicpoint presentation i wrote the other day has two of the
first few pages "why gnome?" and "why not kde?" i'll share it if you like.

3) i have to move my server to another room. i'll continue this real
soon...
