Re: setting expectations

Alright, once more a brief description of how things work.
 you have a question -> you ask it
     \-->no one knows the answear --> no one answears you (that's tough but
what do you want to do about it),
      |                                                                try
again some time maybe someone finds out the answear some time.
      |
      | --->answear/problem is known --> the persone doesn't answear,
because he overlooked your question,

\ is busy, doesn't have the time, doesn't feel like it today (that
is bad luck indeed)
                                                                     |->
you are being answeared --> you are happy

 The bottom line is, I will not aknowlede your problem as I don't have it
and know nothing about (you end up getting hundreds of mails thank you for
writing, that is not what you want either). As this is not kind of a
sponsored help line you are always at the mercy of the ones on the list.
You should just assume everyone is willing to help out, but isn't always
able to. That I believe does hold true for the large majority of the list
subscribers. Considering all this, resending is not a measure for getting
noticed, it allows for some time to experience the same problem and/or come
up with a solution if that takes a bit longer.
