I have been having similar problems and when I run `save-session` I get
the following:
[spoon@underdark * Sat Oct 17]
(~) save-session
save-session: couldn't connect to session manager
And yes, I have the panel running, and I started it with gnome-session. I
think there might be a bug somewhere in session management.

"You're not one of us."
"I don't think I'm one of them, either," said Brutha. "I'm one of
mine."
