yes that would be a nice idea, i am also trying desesperately to compile
gnome-libs on my solaris 2.6 ultra1 box.
do you think of a gnome-porting, or a plateform specific gnome-solaris,
gnome-xxx ?
after installing lot of needed gnu stuff, and getting the newer 0.3.1, i am now
having the following trouble :
Making all in gtk-xmhtml

what is X11/xpm.h, where does it come from, and where can i get an alternative
version ?
although i think it sounds more like an missing #ifdef.
i didn't had this problem with 0.30, but only later on, also i had to remove
the #ifdef NeededVar... in XmHTMLI.h arround __XmHTMLWarning and __XmHTMLError.
with 0.30, i also had a severe imlib related problem later on, when building
pixmaps.
