Problem compiling gnome-libs from CVS - "sed errors"

Hi All,
	
	Alot of people ask me questiosn regarding GNOME now that I am
running gtk.themes.org, so I thought I would have a go at installing GNOME
from CVS. BUT, I have had nothing but trouble trying to get gnome-libs
compiling. Here is what I get during the ./autogen.sh of gnome-libs :

checking for afOpenFile in -laudiofile... (cached) no
checking for orbit-config... (cached) /usr/local/bin/orbit-config
checking for orbit-idl... (cached) /usr/local/bin/orbit-idl
checking for working ORBit environment... (cached) yes
creating ./config.status
creating Makefile

This gos on for quite a while, then the make file continues. But at the
end of it whenI type 'make' it says :

make: *** No targets.  Stop.

This is on a RedHat 5.1 system, please help. I really want to get gnome
going to improve the ifnormation on gtk.themes.org.
