Progress, but...

I now have:

glib, gtk+, imlib, gtk-engines, and gnome-xml built and installed.

When I try to ./configure ORBit, I get:

---<snip>---
config.h is unchanged
configuring in libIDL
running /bin/sh ./configure --cache-file=.././config.cache --srcdir=.
loading cache .././config.cache
./configure: syntax error near unexpected token
`AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE(libIDL,'
./configure: ./configure: line 521: `AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE(libIDL, 0.5.2)'
configure: error: ./configure failed for libIDL

For gnome-libs, I get:

[orme@optic gnome-libs]$ aclocal -I /usr/local/share/aclocal
aclocal: configure.in: 12: macro `AM_ACLOCAL_INCLUDE' not found in
library

This same line worked for all the other packages that I have
successfully compiled so far.

Thanks in advance,

Dave
