Just out of curiosity when will the gnome library function names and
arguments stabilize...

Reson: I love gnome and use it at home and at work however.... many programs
suddenly stop working when I update libraries to fix other bugs.... gedit is
a good example. It doesn't pass enough arguments to: gnome_init so it won't
compile.
