Applets are giving me trouble! and gnome-terminal too!

Hi everyone,

After solving the problems with libtiff and libgdk_imlib, another
trouble has appeared to me.

I can't put any applet on the panel, I'm receiving an error that says:
can't talk to the panel.

I've been using gnome builded from cvs at middle-april, all of has
worked fine, but after I've downloaded the 980510/980514/980516 versions
of gnome-libs and gnome-core, applets isn't working.

More information of my gnome status: (all from
ftp.jimpick.com/pub/gnome/snap)

Mico: 980514 (compiled with --with-gtk option)
Gnome-libs: 980516 (without any compiler/configure options)
Gnome-core: 980516 (without any compiler/configure options)

All the rest of applications I don't upgraded, so, it's from
middle-april or from 980510.

Another problem I'm having is when I run gnome-terminal from an
mortal-user account. It only loads when I'm root. When I'm a single
user, it loads and exit. I think that the following message is appearing
on the terminal window before it disapear:

Could not exec
:no such file or directory

I've tried to pass a --command=/bin/bash to it, but the same happen.
I've tried to pass --login and --nologin parameters too, but it doesn't
work.

If anybody can help me, please e-mail

Best Regards (and sorry by my bad english)
