actually the ofishial(I like that term) name of the applet is the Gnome
Fish as indicated on the about box, wanda is listed as an author
however:)

wanda was the first thing that came to my mind (we already have a robot
at work named wanda so I probably have a thing for "wanda")

gfish is gtoo ghard gto gpronounce :)

for an applet I did in about an hour as a test applet, wanda is getting
WAAAY more popular then I ever expected ...
