ghex as a testbed for GnomeMDI

I just thought I'd let the masses know that GHex has been mostly
rewritten, since I've decided to use it as a testbed for the GnomeMDI.
The gnome-utils/ghex directory now also includes the GnomeMDI sources
and ghex is (that is, _would_ be, if the code was cleaned up a bit) a
nice example of its use.
