no gnome here (f^!#$(^% mico!)

i've been following the Gnome development for quite a while now. but as
soon as mico was required to build the gnome-libs, i couldn't go any
further. for some odd reason, mico just will not compile. i get all sorts
of undefined references to functions. i've posted errors to this list,
mico lists, and nobody even answers. if there is anyone who keeps updated
binaries somewhere, i'd appreciate an URL please. Midnight Commander is
the best file manager i've ever used, and i'm just dying to see the gnome
version.
