This should possibly go to a different list/person -- if so, let me know.
I have automake installed in my /usr hierarchy but I installed gtk+ into the
/usr/local hierarchy. The gtk.m4 file gets put into /usr/local/share/aclocal
When I run autogen.sh to configure imlib, I then errror out because macros
defined in gtk.m4 cannot be found. I fixed this by symlinking the gtk.m4 file
into /usr/share/aclocal.
I think automake is not searching both /usr/share/aclocal and
/usr/local/share/aclocal. Where can/should the fix be applied? (In automake?
In gtk+, or in code that uses the gtk.m4 file?)
