Error running autogen.sh for gnome-utils.

Hi,

I'm getting the following error running autogen.sh on the gnome-utils
source I checked out of CVS:

./configure: syntax error near unexpected token `AM_PATH_GTK(,,{'
./configure: ./configure: line 1992: `  AM_PATH_GTK(,,{ echo "configure:
error: GTK not installed" 1>&2; exit 1; })'

What might I be doing wrong?  I'm not passing any arguments to autogen.sh.
