I'd been thinking about doing that myself, though I havn't had the time
to learn enough gtk to do it yet...

If you do make it, please make sure it has good support for Makefile
based projects.

Also, putting each debugger window (watches, breakpoints, stack, ect) in
a seperate handle box that coule be toggled to show or not would be
cool.

I'd be happy to help someone (to what extent time allows) if they start
something before I can :).
