Hi!
Would somebody involved with GNOME like to take on this important
task? I'd volunteer, but I don't know gtk+ well enough.
Basically all that's involved is in modifying Emacs' lwlib (Lucid
Widget library) to work with gtk+. It already works with Athena
Widgets and Motif, so there's plenty of context.
Please contact RMS if you want to do this work,

This isn't a bug report so much as a question about a potential
feature. Are there plans to have Emacs use GTK as a graphical
toolkit?
I would like this to happen--if anyone is interested in working on it,
please contact me.
