Now phaser-chess isn't compiling.  Looks like I need to install
Objective-C.  Is there ANYTHING that Gnome doesn't require (grouse,
grouse)?  Or better, what if I don't care about phaser-chess?  How do
I dis-include it from my installation of Gnome?
