OFFTOPIC-RE: Netscape not quite free

>From reading various posts on the net, I get the impression that any kind of
freeware browser is going to be a security risk. I know this to be not true,
but average consumer will listen to whatever MicroSoft says/implies. So, I'm
hoping that this area of a concern to consumers will be addressed by free
software community before it becomes public relations nightmare. 

If seen from a consumer, this kind of misinformation can be very effective
deterrent against using any free software.
