trouble compiling gnome-guile package

after typing running autogen.sh and typing make,
the process sadly ends with:

make[2]: Entering directory `/home/jaka/gnomecvs/gnome-guile/guile-gtk'
cd . && autoheader
Computing dependencies for main.c...
./gen-typeinfo infomac gtk.defs ./guile.details >tmp \
&& mv tmp gtk-types.h
guile: Unbound variable: identity
make[2]: *** [gtk-types.h] Error 2

I am using guile 1.2, slib 2c0 and the latest CVS sources.
Help, anybody...
