Anything GNOME need done away from X?

I am going home for two weeks and was wondering if there is anything that
can be done while I don't have access to a UNIX/X system?

I just found out that my flight leaves tomorrow (thought it didn't leave
until the 23rd).

Help me from being bored to death.
