how can I get gnome back ... please !!

Well, I guess I stayed too long without compiling gnome ...

but I could compile it by adding some librairies which didn't use to be
needed. 

But now, (after everything compiled), when I try to run 'panel', I get :

  /usr/lib/libgnomeui.so.0: undefined symbol: g_strfreev


I have just updated glib, gtk+ etc ... as usual.
