No, that can't be the problem.

                                       When using snapshots from
jimpick you may have a gnome-libs from Nov 29 or 30 even if you got it
on Dec 1 and that was broken (yes, it was my fault ...) so simply update
your gnome-libs (libgnomeui/gnome-properties*) and it should work.
