Hi

I'm still in the poo here
Got all the updates including the new
core files
I have the same problem, for me its a
change from

segmentation fault ( core dumped)

As I used to get, I have never been able
to run theis program and have NEVER
had an answer
to my questions about it and the one
about running gnome-session

The gnome-session message is the same
but the gnome-linuxconf has changed
from

egmentation fault ( core dumped)
to
root@odyssey-online /pjcague]#
gnome-linuxconf
gnome-linuxconf: error in loading shared
libraries
/usr/local/lib/libgnomeui.so.0:
undefined symbol: GTK_TYPE_GDK_COLOR
[root@odyssey-online /pjcague]#

or /root if I login as root  and has
pjcague I have no sound.

/home/ftp/pjcague/.esdauth: file exists
couldn't connect to EsounD monitor.. no
anaylsis modes

Is what I get if I try to run Emusic
and there's no background sound at all

As /root I have background sounds but I
can't find the progams

my root bash_profile is like:

I'm running E as it seem the easyest to
get going. the default fvwm2 won't read
any files I put in the /root
to configure it to use Gnome,  and the
taskbar and all the win95 stuff come
through I also have KDE installed
but it work work cause of lib file error
