Well, at least my gnome-core-0.28 tarball *compiles* without errors.
Of cause we cannot publically announce it to the world as the latest
GNOME RPM - but it should be easy to make a working one out of it as
soon as someone has the patch.

But I think a RPM that does not work, but that compiles without problems
will make it easier for people to fix the error. That's why I announced
the gnome-core-0.28 tarball on the GNOME mailing list - together with the
notice that applets do not work.

Under FreeBSD, the applet problem does not exist - it just works fine,
but there are compilation errors which needs to be fixed.

So my gnome-core-0.28 tarball needs to be fixed, too.
