background-properties

	Is there any reason that background-properties is taking up 
 33 % of my CPU?  This seems abit odd, I didn't know it did much.  Hell what's it doing? decoding mp3's?  I'm running a p120 but still, I don't think I should
have to upgrade my cpu so I can get a background picture.
