Problem with gnome-objc under FreeBSD-2.2.7

Hello,

I successfully compiled and installed glib, gtk+, imlib, gnome-libs.

Compiling gnome-objc, there are warnings for every class, like:

/var/tmp/ccYv9205.s: Assembler messages:
/var/tmp/ccYv9205.s:2697: Warning: GOT relocation burb:
`__OBJC_CLASS_testApp' should be global

But it compiles without errors.
When I then try to start 'gtk-test' in gnome-objc/obgtk I get the
following error message:

bash$ ./obgtk-test
/usr/src/gnu/lib/libobjc/../../../contrib/gcc/objc/init.c:182: failed
assertion `CLS_ISCLASS(class)'
Abort trap

The same with any other gnome-objc application.
Does anyone can explain to me what this means? I'm running FreeBSD-2.2.7
with gcc 2.7.2.1 and
GNU assembler version 1.92.3, FreeBSD $Revision: 1.4 $
on a Pentium 166 PC.

The non-objc gnome-apps do run without big problems.
