hmm strange.. works on pseudocolor 8bpp, trueclor (staticolor) 8bp,
16bpp turecolor, 15bpp truecolor, 24bpp packed truecolor and 24+8
overlay truecolor, 16color VGA16 and 1-bit monochrome here (accelx for
all but VGA16 and mono - using Xfree servers for them).
