I am working on GNOME Break Timer for my GSoC 2013 project. It's an application
that helps people to take regular breaks. I'm just polishing it up now for a
first stable release.

At the moment, the source is hosted at
https://github.com/DylanMcCall/gnome-break-timer. I'd like this to be hosted in
a new git repository under git.gnome.org, with the name "gnome-break-timer".

You can find out more about the project at
https://wiki.gnome.org/SummerOfCode2013/Projects/DylanMccall_BreakTimer.

Incidentally, I do not yet have a gnome.org git account. Should I request one?

Project prerequisites:
1. Everything is licensed under GNU GPL 3.0 or later.
2. It's using Vala and GTK+3 (with many of the cool new toys in 3.10), and it
has the usual automake setup seen in GNOME projects. The application
communicates with GNOME Shell over dbus for some tight integration.
3. The project is maintained by me (Dylan McCall). I don't expect a
particularly action-packed development cycle in the future, but I'm keeping it
easily maintainable with unit tests and documentation.
4. To the best of my knowledge, GNOME Break Timer does not infringe on any
patents.
5. Copyright assignment is not required.
