Seeing the current karmic intltool package, it seems all the dependencies
should be met. I've downloaded it on
/home/users/claudep/intltool_0.41.0-0ubuntu1_all.deb

I think bkor previously installed a locally built intltool for 0.40.4 (run
`which intltool-update`) so it might be a good idea to uninstall it before.
