cheese, gnomeweb and old files not being removed

Hi, I've asked this on IRC (#sysadmin) but got no reply,
this morning I did some change in cheese website to use server side includes.
I renamed all .html files to .shtml but apparently the old html files
are still in the webserver.
So when I try to open projects.gnome.org/cheese it goes to index.html
instead of index.shtml.
We have a mrproper rule that removes everything but it doesn't seem to
be called when gnomeweb-wml is built.
Any idea about how to solve this?
