GNOME Sysadmin Summary - November 2004 ====================================== Problems -------- No major problems reported this month. New issues --------- Menubar was rebooted on Nov 23rd. This caused the mailing list archiver to be reloaded, and some stray debugging code in the mhonarc scripts become active. Owen tracked down the problem and fixed it, but there's now a hole in the web archives of a couple of days. The raw mailman archives are unaffected, so a plan has been discussed to extract the missing messages and feed them back into the web archives. Progress on old issues ------------------ The 'post-only' patch was integrated back into mailman on menubar (Ross). Reboots ------ All servers were rebooted on Nov 23rd, by Matt Galgoci, to effect recent kernel errata.
