hi,

a warm welcome to all those who have already joined, and of course to
them who wanted to know all about GNOME-India but were clueless about
where to ask <smile>

am more interested in the usability and Gnome talk given, and all of us
would benefit if the talks/slides could be made available.

yup !! second this. let's interact and work in sync with the aim of
promoting GNOME

hunh ?? well let's see, the page now contains a welcome note to all
members of GNOME-India, that should suffice. otherwise here is something
that could be used to spread the word - use a sig line that proclaims
you to be a member of GNOME-India. have sent the announcement to FN &
LFY also, someone could do the same for DIGIT, PCQ and EFY.

good show

and also let us have some threads to ponder over.

in an earlier mail Jeff Waugh had announced a few points for the
GNOME-Marketing. now we have done the thing by setting up the regional
list (for India). the next step is to talk about strategic goals

for the short term i do think the one suggested below is a prime
candidate - the more you show and the more you talk the greater people
know.

on a long term basis, i believe that it is important to build up a
repository of slides, articles talks and notes that address in a
comprehensive manner aspects of GNOME and especially addressing
differing levels of audience. a few of us here are involved in L10n
efforts in various Indian languages, GNOME has been our DE of choice.
let's have threads on how effectively eye candy has been used to 'lure'
eyeballs.

paradoxical as it may sound, i believe that sayamindu has a new toy to
play with now <duck>

whew for me too...hope this one does get through..

good to have you with us, have a wonderful day

warm regards
