Hi Daniel,
Thanks for sharing your script. I’ve got my own scripts too to upload to Git. Unfortunately, I lost access grant once GNOME was migrated to GitLab. I asked for access permission, but sysadmin replied if safer to avoid translators to access whole source code.
That’s why I’ve gotta upload by D-L.
Thanks and best regards,
Dooteo
If you have commit access you can use my scritp (with appropiate modifcations to adapt it to your language) to autimatically commit a bunch of PO files without having to do all that click-work in DL.
Hope it help you! Hi Rafael,
Mmmmmm… I see. First I have to reserve it to translate myself, then upload translation, after set as “ready to submit” and finally “Send to repo”. It is too many steps to make a simple upload and commit step.
I think there should be a faster way for commiters who are translating too. Just another option: “upload and commit translation”
Could be it possible?
Thanks and best regards,
Dooteo
Hi dooteo,
The action "Inform for submission" is just an information in D-L interface, as well as archiving the current translation.
In order to upload the translation to the source code you have to use "Send to repository" after it is ready for submission.
Best regards, Rafael Fontenelle Hi all,
I’m the coordinator for Basque language, and I’m trying to commit translated PO files (epiphany, gym, and others) to GNOME 3.30. Even I set them as “Inform for submission”, Damned Lies does not commit them to Git system.
How can I commit them?
Thanks and best regards,
Iñaki Larrañaga
